Position light pedestal signals guard the east end of ALTO. This portion of ALTO was once part of the 14th Street interlocking.
One last look at CP-Works before it is cutover to Pittsburgh.
Two days after CP-Works is cutover, here's how it looks from 7th Street.
Looking down the Works ladder.
New CP-Works eastbound signal is in place. Look closely and you'll see the old signals on the ground.
Moving up to ALTO for a few photos before the view changes forever. Westbound on 3 with an eastbound on 1.
ALTO living out her last full day of manned operation.
A short work train comes up the siding and goes west on track 1 up to MG after getting track authorities from the dispatcher. Main 1 and 3 west of ALTO are signalled in only one direction instead of both like main 2.

And here's the eastbound view at 24th Street after all of Slope's switches were removed. In this photo the layout for the new CP-Altoona is complete.
