There are lots of GP38's here waiting for rebuild and return to service.
This is the former PRR Altoona passenger Car Shop and now Union Tank Car Company.

July 2007
Hmmm, a rare blue helper set. The helpers are being painted fairly rapidly and blue helper sets are getting pretty rare.

There are lots of boxcars stored in the "Brush Yard" at Altoona.

10N comes off the mountain and passes Alto with a headend helper.
An A-B-A set of F units leads eight cars east to Harrisburg, then they'll go south.
March 2008
The Everett has sold their 6051 to NREX. Here the CB10 has returned to Altoona with the 6051 and cars in tow.

64J trash train is eastbound with two former SD40's for power.

NS 999 just got parked after a few hours of use before I showed up. It's now plugged in and charging.
