April 12, 2010 - Speeder Restoration
Time for a new paint job. Before new coat of red paint.
After one coat.
April 21, 2010 - Speeder Restoration Etc
Two coats of safety red.
Carburetor temporarily installed for the photo.
FEBT is now working on rebuilding the roof over the twin boilers of the EBT shops.
Lots of old fire damage.
The cupola was raised to its proper height during a previous work session.
December 11, 2010 - Winter Visit
The two "carrowinds" cars were kicked outside into the cold to allow more inside storage space for the historic EBT equipment. These two were used on a theme park ride at one time.
FEBT is currently doing a lot of restoration work to the coal dock. Here's what it looks like now.
There's a little snow in front of the shops.
May 8, 2011 - Opening Weekend
EBT's Plymouth 16-tonner has been repainted.
#15 has been repainted. Here she is at the inspection pit after the day's work.
#15 on the turntable.
June 14, 2011 - Mid-week Visit
The National Historic Landmark monument across the street from the EBT station with the roundhouse in the background.
On the opposite corner of the Meadow Street crossing is this time capsule.
The time capsule was buried in 1976 and is scheduled to be open in 2076.
To help with logistics for Thomas the Tank Engine's visit, the EBT crew is rebuilding track one. Photo taken from the end of the station platform.
As of 6/22/11, all the ties have been placed up to the station platform. Now the rail needs spiked.
June 24, 2011 - Mid-week Visit
The EBT employees are going to finish spiking track one today.
They had to rebuild track one in preparation for the Day Out With Thomas event.
Speaking of Thomas, here he is behind EBT's 12-ton Plymouth.
July 2, 2011 - Day Out With Thomas the Tank Engine
During breaks I was able to get a few snap-shots of things going on during the Thomas event. The station is approprietly decorated.
Thomas leads the train down track 1 to the station.
Sir Topham Hatt is on hand for photos.
#15 is stopped at the station while Thomas passes.
July 9, 2011 - Day Out With Thomas the Tank Engine
Thomas just got a bath.
55-tonner M-7 provides the power for the Thomas train. Check out that Nathan K5HA!
Three 1920s Fairmonts all lined up on track three ready for the day's operations.

July 10, 2011 - Day Out With Thomas the Tank Engine
#15 grabs her train and Mark is ready with the handcar.
Thomas is putting his train away again on his last day at the EBT. He'll soon leave to visit another railroad.
August 11, 2011 - Mid-week Visit
Coach #8 suffered some damage due to old age recently. This is the trouble with using coaches that are over 130 years old.

August 13, 2011 - Appreciation Day and Civil War Weekend
#15 returns with the train as seen from the Flying Devil.

September 10, 2011
#15 creeps up to the Meadow Street crossing with the Fireman on the pilot.

December 23, 2011 - Polar Express
Group photos of everyone who helped out with Polar Express today.
#15 couples to the train.
The train will drop down to the station then shove up the main to be loaded with cookies and hot cocoa.
Caboose 27 is decorated with lights and a wreath.
Here's M-3 taking a break ahead of the train. M-3 will take Santa, an elf, and Santa's sleigh to the North Pole ahead of the train.
Courtney explains how he's been doing some work to the M-3 to improve its operation. Courtney recently refilled the transmission with a better fluid.
Something else Courtney did this week is hook up second set of front brakes. In these two photos note the new cable.
When M-3 was restored in 2006 the extra front brakes were not hooked up.
The parlor car has it's own Christmas tree.

The last train has returned from the North Pole.
